Marie Dean Pugsley

mpugsleypatchesoflight@gmail.com

Marie is the Treasurer for Patches of Light. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and currently resides in Hilliard with her husband Eddie and their 2 sons: Ben and Adam.  She has been an active volunteer and worked for Tree of Life Christian schools for several years before getting her real estate license 4+ years ago, and currently works for Fathom Realty.  Marie prides herself on providing exceptional customer service to her clients.  By the time you get to the closing table, you will have made a lifelong friend in Marie!

After a tragic drowning accident in 2009 took the life of Marie's niece, Jaedyn, she began her own non-profit organization. One way Marie deals with her grief is to reach out and help others going through a difficult time.  To be a light in their darkness. Later, Marie met Mindy and joined Patches of Light. She feels blessed and honored to be a part of this organization.

Marie loves country music, having a nice meal out with friends and watching the Cleveland Browns and her favorite show, "This Is Us."  She has made it her mission to donate 5% of her commission, after fees, back to Patches of Light.  If you want to make a new friend, list or purchase a home and help critically ill children and their families--contact Marie!

Darryl serves as the Events Coordinator for Patches of Light.  He became interested in Patches of Light because it’s a small organization but yet touches so many lives.  He recently retired from the military and is happy to now have time to be doing the things he did not have time to do while working.  Though raised as a Golden Bear, he is happy to have called Hilliard home for the last 25 years.  He and his wife Marybeth have 3 children that are all Darby graduates, and now a Mountaineer, a Buckeye and a Bearcat.  When he is not helping with Patches of Light he is helping with the Hilliard Historical Society and spending time to building his photography business, Darryl Walters Photography.  Also as part of his business he started Headshots For Charity (headshotsforcharity.com) which donates directly to Patches of Light from each headshot session.
