Originally from Philadelphia PA, Carol has been a resident of central Ohio since moving to Ohio to attend college in 1970. Her education and career have combined a lifetime passion for both art and teaching. College and graduate school have encompassed fine arts, psychology, art therapy and special education. She is currently a teacher in a large school district near Columbus Ohio.

Carol is currently a member of Ohio Plein Air Society and the Dublin Area Art League. Her passion is painting with oils on canvas. An avid environmentalist, Carol seeks out and appreciates the beauty and serenity of nature and will venture out in all kinds of weather to paint in the open air. For every painting she sells, Carol donates a percentage of her profits to Patches of Light.
