Pap-Paw
Delbert Galentine was our Pap-paw. What does that mean to us? He listened to our rock bands, watched our football games, waited patiently for us to get ready for the prom, played with us, drove us to the doctor when we were sick, came to our graduations, attended our weddings, prayed with us and for us and listened to our dreams. He laughed at our jokes, took us on vacations, told us to vote, made us stand quietly in church and when the flag went by. He always was at our side during a crisis, tried to take away our heartaches, came to see our babies when they arrived and bragged about them to anyone and everyone who would listen. He stood by our side when those very same babies were sick and taught us how to trust in God. Our pap-paw even drove clear across the country to see us, even when he was dying and supported our causes; like Patches of Light. He lived the example of what a man does when he loves his family. He taught us to laugh, love life and most of all, love each other. He will always live in our hearts.

His Grandchildren
