This didn't go over well with the critics. Eventually, the critics sent him away to college where he received a BFA in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since then, Chad has produced a variety of illustrations for print and multimedia. His published children's books include Witchy's Turned Around House (Images Press, 1998), A Day in the Park with Aunt Charlotte (Rigby, 1999), and George Hogglesberry, Grade School Alien (Tricycle Press, 2002). Chad's work has been featured in juried shows in San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta as well as part of a traveling show in Australia and South America.
